FORMER NEWS ANCHOR. TV HOST. FIRST TIME MOMMY
Starting off her career as a television host and model in Honolulu, Hawaii she has continued her on-air talents in broadcast news. Yasmin Dar, an evening news anchor turned full-time mommy, has been able to connect with her viewers on-air, on-line and IRL (in real life) with her friendly and compassionate personality.
Her aloha spirit traveled with her to Eugene, Oregon where she anchored the #1 evening newscasts at 5, 6, & 11pm for KVAL (CBS affiliate). Not only did she anchor but Yasmin also solo produced the 11pm show and is known to handle breaking news with confidence.
Yasmin received her bachelors degree in biology and master degree in communications from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. While in attendance, she was the morning traffic anchor and social media reporter for KITV4 Morning News.
She currently lives in Honolulu with her husband and is the incredibly proud mommy of Gianluca {pronounced Jon-Luca}!
