NEWS ANCHOR. TV HOST. MOMMY-TO-BE

Starting off her career as a television host and model in Honolulu, Hawaii she has  continued her on-air talents in broadcast news. Yasmin Dar, a full-time news anchor, has been able to connect with her viewers on-air, on-line and IRL (in real life) with her friendly and compassionate personality. 

Her aloha spirit has traveled with her to her current residence in Eugene, Oregon where she anchors the #1 evening newscasts at 5, 6, & 11pm for KVAL (CBS affiliate). Not only does she anchor but Yasmin also solo producers the 11pm show and is known to handle breaking news with confidence. 

Yasmin received her bachelors degree in biology and master degree in communications from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. While in attendance, she was the morning traffic anchor and social media reporter for KITV4 Morning News.

She currently lives in Oregon with her husband and is absolutely thrilled for the arrival of her baby boy!
