PLAN OF ACTION: Drink almond butter milk three times a day.
I was a small baby when I was born but my mom swears that almond butter milk helped her fatten me up before my due date. Our little man is behind the growth curve and that has the doc worried, so I have one job while on bed rest: make sure baby grows!
At first I was a little put off by the name but don't let it fool you, it will take you to tasty town and it's a super easy recipe. It's warm, sweet and has a great nutty texture...if you like that kinda stuff. My husband loves it too!
Health nut fact for you: almonds are full of vitamin E (an excellent antioxidant for glowing skin), magnesium, fiber, high in healthy fats and not to mention packed with protein.
Ingredients:
- 12oz almond milk (about the size of a coffee mug)
- 1 tbsp almond butter
- 1 tsp honey (or more for a sweeter drink)
Pour almond milk into your favorite mug & heat it up in the microwave for 2-2.5 mins.
Add almond butter & honey.
Might want to use two spoons to get all the butter and honey off. Give your drink a good stir and enjoy!
